Congratulations to the cast and crew of Three Viewings!
Three Viewings, KMP’s entry in the 2023 AACTFest took top honors at State and Regionals. And now we’re heading for Nationals!
After winning Outstanding Production, Outstanding Acting (Jovon Serrano) and Outstanding Scenic Design (John Brandl) at the Wisconsin Association of Community Theatre Festival in January of this year, KMP took the production to the AACT Region III Festival in April, where we competed against the best companies from Wisconsin Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.
KMP came out on top again, taking Best Production honors, as well as Best Acting awards for Jovon Serrano and Christy Miceli, and Best Directing honors for John Brandl and Robb Bessey. And, we advanced to the national competition, AACTFest 2023, where we’ll go head-to-head against the top community theaters in the country. KMP is considered one of the favorites to win. We’re going to do everything in our power to make that happen.
Hosted by the American Association of Community Theatre(AACT), the festival is in June in Louisville, KY. The bare bones cost of going to Louisville for 5 days (plus 2 additional days for travel) is $10,200. Our cast and crew are taking time off of work, and paying as much as they can, but we’d be grateful for your help. Please help support our dreams by contributing to our GoFundMe fundraiser.
