Recognizing Excellence: Celebrating our Accolades and Achievements
We’re thrilled to announce that Kettle Moraine Players has been recognized by the American Association of Community Theatre with a national Organizational Achievement award. We’re the 25th company in the country ever to receive this award. We’re so excited!

❝WACT Festival❞ is the Wisconsin Association of Community Theatre statewide festival which selects the shows to advance to the ❝AACT Region III Festival❞ which selects the shows to advance to the AACTFest National Finals. Region III includes Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. The festivals are held in every odd numbered year and being selected to advance is essentially a state or regional championship in community theatre.
The ❝Backstage Award❞ is given by the host technical crew to the company they considered to be the most professional at the festival.
While IMEA is an international organization, the nominations for theatre come only from the United States.
