Special Act had a very successful camp and the students and their personal coaches did a spectacular job. The directing workshop is going well and concludes on July 18th.
You can still register your middle school student for Everybody Acts! Registration ends on July 8th.
The Special Act camp is for students with special needs, ages 9-15, which meets 1 hour per day for 8 days. On the 8th day a play is presented for families, friends and others. Class size is limited to 7-10 students so that each student can have a personal acting coach. The dates/times are June 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.
The Everybody Acts! camp is for students entering grades 6, 7, 8 and 9. The camp is non-musical and focuses on acting. Every student will have a speaking role. The reality of musical camps is that only the best singers get speaking roles and even then the time spent on music is triple the time spent acting. So let the school develop your student’s voice and enroll them in the camp that will help their acting. Class size is limited to 5-17 students. Auditions are Saturday, July 14th at 9:00am and camp is from 2:00pm-5:00pm on July 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26 with performances on July 27-28 at times TBA. More information.
